A plank is when you hold your body in a straight and in-line position like a plank of wood. When a plank is done correctly it leads to a host of health benefits.

  5. Better coordination, focus and concentration


How to improve your planks? Focus on

- Eyes on the floor

- Shoulders stacked over hands

- Core engaged

- Pelvis tucked (pulling navel to spine)

- Feet together


The plank has so many benefits to it, since it works the core muscles so intensely benefitting the entire body.

Doing planks regularly can have a good effect on the skeletal system, muscles and even organs.


I CHALLENGE YOU TO:

Plank for 1 minute every night for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, push it to 2 minutes for the next 2 weeks.


👉Use the correct technique to avoid any unnecessary tension.

👉Try using a mirror or film yourself is very useful to build awareness of your body alignment.

👉When performing Planks you should feel a sense of muscle connection and tightness through your entire body.
